How long have you been in business?
O'Neill Productions was founded in 1998.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a full service audio and video company. We have won numerous awards (UBEE's Communicator and Paragons), for radio production and campaigns. From Concept to Broadcast or Distribution...high quality production for Radio Commercials, TV Commercials, Corporate or Business Marketing, Web Ad's, Real Estate Videos, Trade Show Video Loops, Product or Service Promotional Videos and DVD's, Weddings, Music Videos and more! We also can handle your media buys and placement for radio, TV or Cable.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Steve O'Neill's career started in 1978 with a 3rd Class Endorsed license from the FCC in one hand, car keys in the other...and a road map, let the career begin! After 25+ years in broadcasting, he decided to start his own production company in 1998. He worked as a Creative Services Director, Production Director, and an On-Air Personality (Mornings, Middays and afternoon drive) in numerous markets on the West Coast, including: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix, San Diego, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. He began acting in 1985 with the Bobby Ball Academy in Phoenix, and has been a SAG/AFTRA Film and Television actor ever since. Steve is a National voiceover artist as well. He is married, and has two daughters and six grand children.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
With a background in radio, voice-overs and audio production, my video production pieces have that element of the precise audio or sound design needed, that syncs with the video to create that "magic" that has the subtleties to make a video piece stand out from the rest. Audio, music and sound design can make or break a film or video production piece.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One at the moment. Plans are to move into a semi-large commercial space with a large stage with infinity or "cyclorama" walls with a white, blue and green screens already built in for larger chromakey shooting opportunites as well as a larger set for infomercial type shoots.
